Mortgages
Amanda a mum of two vulnerable children aged 49 going through a divorce, having never needing to deal with her own finances, found the prospect of having to fund a suitable mortgage deal daunting.
Her current lender could not assist her request to raise the money she needed to pay off her ex husband as a part of the financial settlement. Amanda was recommended to contact me for advice and guidance by her family law solicitors.
After assessing her current personal & financial position, I was able to distil the market and find a suitable lender who would accept all of Amanda’s income streams, conduct an online calculation to evidence affordability, finally collating all the evidence required to submit the case. A couple of weeks later Amanda’s mortgage application went to offer and the free legal assistance offered within her mortgage deal progressed her application to completion.
Financial protection was one of Amanda’s key financial objectives once Amanda’s mortgage commences, I could ensure she had adequate protection in place for her new mortgage liability and her family.
